Margaret Winslow, Associate Curator for Contemporary Art,
Delaware Art Museum

This Creative Chat featured speaker will be Margaret Winslow, the Delaware Art Museum’s Associate Curator for Contemporary Art, who will present an overview of the history that informed the exhibition Dream Streets: Art in Wilmington 1970–1990. The presentation will be followed by a moderated conversation between Michael Kalmbach, Executive Director, Creative Vision Factory and artist Rick Rothrock about the motivations behind the founding of the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts and the New Wilmington Art Association.

Networking and light fare: 5:30 pm – 6:00 p.m.
Presentation: 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Wilmington Renaissance Corporation (WRC) hosts regular “Creative Chats” at the Chris White Gallery for the public to learn about Wilmington’s dynamic arts scene and WRC’s vision for a Creative District, an established creative community with living and work spaces for artists and entrepreneurs in the City of Wilmington. Creative Chats are free and open to the public.

Light fare and drinks provided. Cash bar.
